This is a great forum for owners to ask how to questions of other owners, no doubt. While I am handy and can do a number of things on my cars, when it comes to service from MB, I expect a lot. They charge premium prices for labor and parts not to mention our cars. So in no particular order, here is what I get.

Free appointment free visits for charging (twice a week), free car wash, shuttle to/from work in courtesy car, coffee, water, drinks and snacks, walk right up to my service advisor to chat or text him, under warranty anything that is covered, not under warranty any small thing (broken front license plate holder), anytime access to my salesperson (how to activate the app), etc.

I don't think some of these items are restricted to MB but full service to me means full service. Not a lot of patience on my part for "I don't know", punt to Germany, you can do yourself, car is new, etc. It is their job to know and ours to enjoy. I do admit that the car has iffy items, like the app, but overall, I love the car and will enjoy it for next 32 months.

The reason I lease electric cars is to stay as far away from the dealership as possible once it is in my hands. There should be minimal maintenance. Rotate the tires, keep an eye on the wiper blades and cabin filter etc.

You guys sound like you needed a friend rather than a car.

Stretch, be nice. As you can see, a number of owners/leasees have questions that the dealer should be able to answer. As to me, sure, I like to make new friends at the dealer, on this forum. Forgive me.

I was sent to the dealer by Mbrace needing a software update that they couldn't push wirelessly. They wound up having to replace the Verizon router in the car. I don't consider an offer to take me to lunch as wanting to make friends - just good business relations.
In my job I routinely reward loyal customers for their patronage - don't see why you would think it is odd for your MB sales person to do the same. In my case I leased 2 cars in two weeks from him. They also host a monthly owner's reception - a nice, catered after work gathering for owners to get together and discuss their vehicles (or network).

Please don't charge in public!
