Hi folks.
We have a B class electric drive which we have owned for a couple of years. We have had an intermittent fault which causes the car to lose power and a warning message to appear to contact workshop.
When we turn ignition off it resets itself.
Mercedes dealer has had car in garage and can find no trace of any fault codes. Also cannot find any fault?
We are now nervous about keeping the car in case this happens at high speed on motorway... Anyone else had this issue?

Thanks. John.

John,

This is a problem that has happened to others and MB has always fixed. Please read longest thread when convenient. One member did have it happen at speed on highway but safely pulled off to the side. In the past, this was a software gliche fixed by dealer with software patch. Then a couple of years ago, there was a recall to install a needed software patch. You can ask the dealer to be sure that all software upgrades were installed. Their statement that they couldn't find any faults cannot override your experience of two incidents. There is no reported incidents of owners doing something to create these types of incidents. Keep on them until they report a solution, have them take it out for a spin to test, and if they are stumped, have them consult MB central as this has happened to dozens of owners, just likely not at your dealer.

Be safe.
