Infotainment update (for Mercedes Me app)

Hello!

I have a 04.2015 B250e from Norway. Very happy with the car, have recently conducted a coolant delete operation and added around 5cm of ground clearance, by installing 3cm lift kit.

I have noticed, that absolutely the same B250e but 2017 year that is currently on sale here where I live has a different look of the infotainment and owner can connect to the car using the MercedesMe app. The screen and everything else is absolutely the same. Could someone please enlighten me, is it possible to upgrade the infotainment of the 2015 year car? Has somebody done it?

I have a 05.2015 B250e from Spain and access to Mercedes.Me.

Check at "mercedes me" web site if there are packages available for your car. There aren't free... You must pay for them.

After purchasing and linking your VIN to the service through a phone call from the "MB Contact" phone contact at your infotainment, services purchased shall be shown at phone app.

I can confirm you must contact Mercedes-Benz support or at least visit a dealership.

Here is the link to the upgrade info. I had an older model since upgraded in 2020.

Thank you for the replies.

Talked to local MB dealer — this car doesn't have Communication Module, hence can't use MercedesMe and dealer said, that it can't be (officially) retrofitted.
