They offered $50 check in the mail for a 15 minute survey about the car/car ownership. I suspect they are trying to solidify the specs for the next generation Mercedes ELC -- the successor to the B250e. I think they wanted to know if AWD / dual motor was important, and range/winter performance in general. The survey was kinda dumb -- I just wanted to talk about the car and tell them what they need to fix.
Range - should be 150-250 miles (winter/summer) - so 50-60 kWh battery
DCFC must be included next time - I guess on SAE Combo although ChaDeMo is supposedly a better connector.
Heck, just put a Tesla connector on there. And get an agreement with Tesla going.
AWD (dual motor) gives the most flexibility.
Fun to drive -- make it fast and have good handling.
I love the hatchback versatility. cargo room can alway be increased. Frunk?
Just make a Tesla Model 3 with a hatchback and a Mercedes logo.
