    Leasing

Nope, I need 15,000. 7,500 is simply silly! What is MB thinking?!

    Leasing

That translates in to a high Money Factor (which in Lease Speak is roughly the interest rate being charged - 2,400 times the Money Factor)...

    Leasing

    And Money Factor and Residual.

What color/options did you go for?

Two months is not atypical for a factory order on a German car... My BMW and Audi both took exactly 7 weeks.

What color/options did you go for?

Also, sometimes there will be a temporary lock when the factory is doing model year changeovers, even if they don't affect a specific vehicle...

What color/options did you go for?

He means that you can no longer place factory orders for them, only 2015s...

TorqueNews review of the B-Class Electric Drive

But, alas, also true... For it's battery capacity, it is somewhat disappointing. If it winds up doing far better than its EPA rating like the RAV4EV does, than the limitations chronicled in the article will be largely forgotten... If not, well... It seemed like a pretty fair article overall...

Rusnak Mercedes in Arcadia,CA has two ED

Yeah, it is more than twice what I am paying on the Leaf... And being been a first adopter, I didn't get the best lease deal which makes it seem even odder... The residual seems artificially low too, which only raises the monthly that much more...

Rusnak Mercedes in Arcadia,CA has two ED

So, the same thing that Nissan is doing with the tax credit... 10,000 miles a year is low though, that would never work for me (I have 15,000). Based on your monthly payment, it seems their money factor may be a little high too...

What kind of lease deals are they offering?

Rusnak Mercedes in Arcadia,CA has two ED

I know there was at least one in Valencia a few days earlier... But you would think there WOULD be more publicity, wouldn't you...

Rusnak Mercedes in Arcadia,CA has two ED

Just as with the Leaf, at a constant speed with the Climate Control off, I would expect there to be virtually no difference. And it would have to be in two opposite directions close together in time to have any validity...

So what were the lease terms? What options? Range Package?

    Possible official EPA rating

A few things... First, real world range. The RAV4EV typically gets well beyond the EPA rated range. Most RAV owners plan on 125 miles and easily achieve it without hypermiling. I borrow a friends from time to time and even driving the hell out of it have never been below the 120s. Who...

B-Class Electric Drive launches in US today

    I'm assuming the latter.

    Possible official EPA rating

Still unimpressive for a car with a 36Kwh battery... The RAV4EV has 40Kwh and does proportionately much better, and it is heavier and less aerodynamic... Here is a EPA comparison sheet of the vehicles in question: http://fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=sbs&id=34425&id=34699&id=35247&id=35207

    Chicago Tribune B-Class EV review

Interesting... Susan Carpenter writes for the L.A. Times on a semi-regular basis and her vehicle reviews have been hit and miss over the years... She bobbled her Leaf review, some years back, for instance, by getting a number of facts and observations wrong... But I do strongly agree with her...

Car and Driver first drive review of the B-Class Electric

Yes, they say that they want the experience to be "just like driving a conventional care" and then turn around and muck it up with garish graphics and colors...

    Possible official EPA rating

Not surprising at all, really. A) The RAV4EV has proven to have excellent range, well over 100 miles, and THIS is what thrills people. They could not care less about MPGe for the most part. B) The Range option on the MB is not going to add nearly enough to get it even close to 100 miles on...
