Suggestion for tow bar on Electric B-Class

Has anyone had a tow bar installed on an Electric B-Class? We're not looking to tow anything, just need it for a bicycle rack. I’d really appreciate any advice

I’ve seen some cars with roof racks, which could be a good option for your Electric B-Class. If you’re not looking to tow anything and just need it for a bicycle rack, I found a trunk mount 3-bike rack from Thule on etrailer.com for $170. It’s the Thule Th911XT. That might work well for your needs

Yes, we had a tow bar fitted on an EV just for a bike rack, and it worked out great! It was a fairly simple install, though we made sure it was rated specifically for bike racks since it wasn’t for towing. A local shop did ours, and it’s been solid no issues with the weight or stability. You can check with your installer to make sure it’s compatible with the car’s weight limits, but otherwise, it should be smooth sailing.
