This may not be the best place to post this question, but I can't seem to figure out how to make a new post. Anyway, I think you've likely addressed these issues elsewhere or at least thought about them.

Does anyone know:

1) whether the app for the new EQ will work on the b class electric drive? I suspect the answer is no, but would be very pleased if someone knows for sure and can confirm.

2) are the prior b class apps completely kaput? The "My B" app is still available on Apple's page; however, it doesn't seem to be operable.
