Just got my hands on a new B-class, and I’m super excited to set up a JuiceBox Pro charger in my garage. Has anyone tried out the JuiceBox chargers? I'm curious about the charging times with the JuiceBox Pro.

Overall, is it worth it or you’d rather recommend any other brands out there?

Thanks guys!

I just installed a JuiceBox Pro for my EV, and it's been a game changer, my charging speeds are impressive, I typically get about 25 miles of range per hour, and the smart features let me track my usage, which is super helpful. If you're considering it, I’d say go for it, you won't be disappointed.

The JuiceBox Pro is a great option for the B-Class, especially with its ability to provide up to 40 amps. That matches well with your car’s capabilities, ensuring great charging times. Just make sure your garage wiring can handle the higher amperage! I’ve heard great things about its smart features, but if you want a simpler setup, you could also look at brands like Wallbox or Grizzl-E. They might not have as many features but are very reliable. For tech-heavy options, though, JuiceBox is hard to beat.

I’ve used a JuiceBox Pro, and it’s fantastic! Charging times depend on your car’s onboard charger, but it’s reliable and easy to use, and brands like ChargePoint are great too.

This whole thread reads like an AI lovefest.

IDK where all this praise for JB is coming from. Enel-X bought out the original JB founders a few years back, and last month they pulled the plug on their US operations with about a week's notice, leaving thousands of JB units out of service, as you could no longer reconfigure them without their cloud server. A mystery buyer bought the assets and changed the protocol to SSL, making a MiTM/proxy fix harder. And OpenEVSE is building a drop-in replacement brain board for them to work around that.

Transport Evolved has done at least five YT vids on the issue.

All in all, a JuiceBox is about the last EVSE you should consider buying.

Second asavage on that summary. Dreading when the cloud server will get pulled or crash with no one to maintain it. Even worse yet - when Juicebox owners will get the email about subscription fees.

Run away from Juicebox units.
