The only two modifications I noticed that the E plus mode brings is it softens the gas-pedal and limits the B250e to about 68 miles per hour. Is anyone else aware of any other changes E Plus applies?

According the M-B Operator's Manual:
If you have selected drive program E+:
- the cooling output is reduced when cooling
- heat output is reduced when heating
- the time for which the rear window defroster will run is reduced.

This is one of several tools and prompts to encourage conservation of the High Voltage Battery energy (and thus extend range)

I live in a mild Mediterranean climate (San Francisco Bay Area, California) so I'm interested to see how my B250e performs over the first winter.
Had a chance to turn on the driver's seat heater last week (outside temps in the low 50degF/10degC) - but had to turn it off after a couple of minutes!!

Peter,

Accessories make a big difference in economy. When it's 65 degrees out and I'm using nothing I can get 3.6 kwh. In the summer here in Florida I get about 3.1 kwh.

Thanks for the data-point. I'll post an update once winter arrives here. I noticed I get a 3.3kwh consumption, and rarely use the AC. Haven't tried the heater yet, but the front seat heaters are nice to have.
