The quality of a 3 sucks compared to a B. They will make it right but it takes several tries. If you have the time to take it bank then you can eventually end up with a good car. QC is hot a Tesla strength.

Interesting link. For me selecting 2014 gets me the 2015 command manual only. 2015 gets nothing and 2016 gets the owners and command. 2017 gets three manuals including the quick reference.

You need two manuals The command and the operators manual. I deleted my 2014 manuals when I got a 2017 B. I could attach the 17 books to your email but I no longer have the 2014 books. If you want them PM me your email address.

Many times this message goes away at the next power up. I had this message also but it has not reoccurred. You could be an unlucky one but that is why the car has a warranty.

Well my 100A FPE panel gave up. One morning at around 4AM WITH VERY LIGHT LOADS IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. I NOW HAVE A 200A PANEL LABELED EATON. It seems that Anaheim now requires at least 200A. Oh well it gives me lots of slots even though 100A would have been fine. My highest load is my 40A car.

The battery warranty is only for faults. It does not cover capacity degradation. if your battery totally dies then you are covered. You can expect 5-10% degradation per year.

The car comes with a 120V L1 EVSE by Lear. It has two currents. A safe default 8A and the maximum for a 15A receptacle 12A. I use a 240V 40A OpenEVSE but the car will charge at 120V 12A. It just takes a whole lot longer.

The cruse control is not radar based. My current car has paddles and usually I select D- for max regen. I do not like D auto which is supposed to be radar based. Without the paddles it is just D. It defaults to Dauto so I just push the left paddle once.

Radar toward assist and they come with the range extender package (2015 and later). Cruse control is the old fashioned way. Paddles and back up cameras are options. My car has blind spot detection and performance 3. The basic car lacks that.
