Does the multi year warranty cover the EVSE or is it just one year?

I live in Southern California where 40 F is cold. I have never noticed any temperature degradation . I do know the battery has a heater if it is plugged in but I plan to never use it.

What is cold? I freeze at 40 degrees F. As been mentioned push the range button before charging. It adds 10% to the capacity . It goes from 80% to 90%. It does not show on the charge meter but the GOM does increase a bit.

I just did a lot of 65MPH Freeway driving and after normal charging the GOM said 86 moles. With my normal street driving it usually shows around 63 miles . Realize the range meter reflects previous driving. It is only an estimate.

The unit is Chadmo. I wish it was CCS since that is where the US seems to be headed, Right now there are fewer CCS chargers but that will change.

Quick Charge Power has a fast L3 charger for the B. It is 3K but that u-is in line with Tesla charges.

Four months is a long time but having a Mercedes supplied loaner negates that. The only problem is that the loaner is most likely ICE so you need fill it with gas.

I would assume that Clipper Creek wants to sell large EVSE's. Anyone that knows electric cars knows that the car not the EVSE sets the current as long as there is enough. My B will charge at 40A from the spec 80A max but half the current would be unused., You are certainly right hat a 20A...

The car charger sets the current. No B charges at 50A. A Volt charges at 14A at 240VAC.. I was under the impression that it charged at 16A but I was wrong. Every car's charger sets the current. Buying a larger than necessary EVSE is a waste of money.

Do not forget the Lear (Mercedes) charger defaults to 8A. For 12A would have to select it each time . 8A on a B would take forever. Beware of Chinese EVSE's on eBay. Many claim to be J1772 compliant even though they are not. There is very little to no regulation in China. It is the technical...

Everyone is talking about the guess o meter display. It is only an indicator based on previous behavior, Obviously if you only drive freeways at 75MPH the display will be lower . If you only drive city streets at 40MPH then the display will read higher, Remember it is only an estimate.

I really do not think it will ever happen but I want a base Tesla 3 with only the color option for 37K. That is 35K plus 2K for the color.

The meter says 100% of 80%. 90% does not show on the meter but it increases the GOM. Really the meter just states the percentage of the standard 80% charge. Personally for running around town I charge at 75% of the 80%. That works for my limited mileage.

My 84 developed a cooling pump problem. It would charge OK at L1 but it over heated at L2. Mercedes of Anaheim fixed the problem in 2 days.
