Very temperature dependent. Ours will charge to 87 miles easily in the summer time here in South Texas. In the winter time, (highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s) garage normally around kept around 60, we get 67 or 73 miles of range. With the range extender in the summer time we get over 100miles...

Ours does it occasionally. I notice it shortly after coming to a complete stop. Happens maybe once every few weeks. The car did this with the original drive unit (replaced at 47k miles) and the new one (4k miles on it).

Has anyone purchased an extended warranty for their b-class from anyone other than MB? Since I purchased my car used, it does not qualify for a MB extended warranty. Love the car. Just had the DU replaced in Jul18 at 47k miles, barely made it under the 4yr/50k. Looking for a decent 3rd party...

Thanks Jeff. I think I'm going to take a precautionary approach. I have my juicebox set to charge the car at 40a, I will be turning that down to 30-32amps.

Finally! MB Germany approved replacing the drive unit. This comes after the car has been in the shop for 9 weeks. We are on our 3rd loaner as the don't like anyone person to have a loaner for more than a month. The technician still got the error code after replacing the charger(AC/DC inverter)...

It is 8yr/100K, however, the warranty states that each year the battery has to be tested. This basically means MB will back the battery after the 4yr/50k warranty only if you bring the car in annually so they can track the status of the battery.

Time for an update. The car has been in the shop for 6 weeks now. Germany said that they would replace DC/DC converter, which the dealer did this week. The car threw the same code. MBUSA isn't recommending replacing the drive unit. The dealer is convinced that this would solve the problem. Tesla...

Our turn. 2015 with 46K miles. Yesterday my wife got a low pressure indications and immediately got this message as well. Still under warranty! I think it's MB's way of getting you to buy tires from them! Kidding, hopefully the it's not a DU replacement. Wish me luck!

This was a point of contention with my wife the first few months we had the car. After seeing the posts here, I couple of good whacks, and the headrests went down. She is much happier with the visibility out the back. Good Luck.

Sorry to hear about your emblem. I always thought the radar was located behind the review mirror. I believe that is where it’s located on my Eclass.

JeffRay, Thanks! I will poke around. I bought the car over internet from a Mercedes dealer. I'm in Texas, the car was in Los Angeles. My local dealer wanted $150 to get a new VCC. I will look again, but it was my understanding that MB changed their policy on used vehicles. Happy New Year!
